WHO Donates Over 115 USD Items To MoHS

World Health Organization WHO has on Wednesday 21st December 2022 donated items worth 115 Thousand United States dollars to the Ministry of Health and Sanitation.

The items entails lab equipment, office equipment which includes 15 laptops, blood pressure machines, beds for social and reproductive health and many others.

Dr. Innocent B. Nuwagira, WHO representative who presented and handed over the items to the Chief Medical Officer of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation said the items were donated to support the Ministry on the COVID-19 work.

Dr. Nuwagira dedicated special thanks to other partners who equally provide financial and technical support and assured the Government of Sierra Leone that World Health Organization is committed and always ready to support the health sector of Sierra Leone.

Dr. Sartie Kanneh, Chief Medical Officer expressed appreciation to the World Health Organization for such a wonderful contribution in the health sector.

The donation was done in the presence of press men, medical officers and staff from the Health Ministry.
