East End Lions Football Club has of last weekend started their 2022/2023 Premier League campaign impressively as they defeated Lamboi Football Club by three goals to nil at the Lungi Central field.
Suliaman Kargbo open the scoring in the 10th minute of play through an open play and the ball was assisted by Abdul Razak playing the Midfield role for East End Lions Football Club, and the second was scored by Mohamed Koroma of the East End Lions Football though a counter-attack and take full advantage of it put the ball back of the net to double the scoring for the Killers East End Lions.
Lamboi F.C tried to bounce back as they got a consolation goal from the penalty spot and Basiru Olu Koroma converts the spot kick giving them an away goal.
At Magburaka town field, East End Tigers lost to Central Parade by two goals to one and it was their first win in the start of the New Season of the Premier League.
At the Port Loko mini Stadium, FC Kallon settle to a (2-2) as the match was halted for chaos scene as Fans of Bureh Warrior Football attacked the referee for a ball he awarded as a goal, the matter is under investigation by the ethic committee of the Sierra Leone Premier League.
At the Museum Field, host Wusum Stars settle to (1-1) all draw with both teams getting several chances to snatch all three points.
At the Kenema town field, Kamboi Eagles Football club settle to a goalless Luawa Football.
At the Parade ground Mighty Blackpool settle to (1-1) with Old Edwardian Football at the Parade grounds, Old Michael Kargbo open the scoring in (27) minutes of play and Ron Gandy William leveled the scoring in the 73rd minute as both teams hold till the 90th minute of play.
The Sierra Leone Premier League continues this Midweek with interesting fixtures.
Freetonian FC will welcome Lamboi FC from Lungi at the Parade Grounds.
FC Kallon will host Diamond Stars FC at the Angola field in the West End of Freetown.
