The President for Global Fund for Children (GFC), Mr. John Heclinger, has made a courtesy visit to Waiima and Komende Communities in order for their partners including Canter Advocacy for Sustainable Development to share experiences on community development.
In the engagement, the Community Facilitator, Amie Feika, narrated how CASE-SALONE has been incessantly helpful in capacitating the Community to promote the collective wellbeing of all.
She stated that with the establishment of the Community Management Committee (CMC), the Community has been effectively managing its development affairs.
Her presentation was supported by Betty Kamara, the Community Facilitator from Komende where similar Development has been going on through CASE-SALONE’S novel intervention.
Mr. John Hecklinger expressed delight for the good work by their partners, adding that he was excited about the impressive intervention of CASE-SALONE to support development in communities where the need is greater.
He encouraged Community partners to be steadfast in collectively working for the sustainable development of their communities.
Speaking to A-Z Newspaper at Waiima Community, stakeholders said that they are happy over the visitation of The President for Global Fund for Children (GFC), Mr. John Heclinger, whom according to them, indicated that the donors are highly in the development of their community and they are looking forward to seeing him coming to the community again to support CASE Salone.
Brima Tubor said that ‘’ as community we are focused on what we have been taught by CASE Salone on community development and we will make sure that our children are well protected in the community to make sure that they are educated who will in turn come back to the community to bring mote development when CASE Salone will have been phased out.
Jatu Momoh said that “I hope John Heclinger and his team will give more support to CASE Salone to enhance our livelihood in the community’’.
