President of the National Union of Sierra Leone Students (NUSS) Mohamed Rex Bhonapha has affirmed that thousands of students at the AI Professional University of swift students’ welfare delivery during its Academic Excellence Award Night on Friday 2nd December, 2022.
Bhonapha said his administration would continue to make a tireless effort in ensuring that all students across different institutions reap the goodies especially when it comes to student’s representation.
He revealed that his leadership is geared towards providing better atmosphere where student’s voices are heard and equally enjoy the synergy which they have been longing for.
Rex Bhonapha urged educational stakeholders to work in the same drive in order to ensure that every university receives its acknowledgment in terms of quality higher education.
“Every great university started somewhere and that AI Professional University is the hidden but outstanding institution with lots of right-minded students,’’ President Bhonapha said.
He affirmed that the welfare of students in Sierra Leone has been one of his flagship implementations. Rex said the future of this nation is in the hands of every student; adding that students should manifest their national responsibilities and thereby serving as role models to others.
President Bhonapha thanked the entire students of AI Professional University for a well-composed and non-violent election which they held in recent times.
Rex disclosed that the steadfastness and good character they showed after their Student Union election portrays that there have been more developmental strides coming in due course.
He encouraged Sierra Leonean students to desist from all forms of violence and begin to nurture great potentials.
“Creating good network with one another for a memorable experience is the best way whiles in university or college,’’ President mentioned.
He assured of his support and commitment to not only AI Professional University but also to other universities within the country.
Bhonapha Revealed that inclusivity among all students in the bid of restoring the past glory of higher education the nation had been known within the sub-Sahara Africa in the past decades could be the much needed aspiration of all and sundry.
