Mena Queens FC Subdues To Mogbwemo Queens Fc On Home Soil

Bombali district’s sole representative in the Women’s Premier League Mena Queens has suffered their second defeat bowing at home to league leader Mogbwemo Queens 2-0 on Saturday, 26th of November 2022 at the Makeni Museum field.

Midfielder Kadiatu Musa Kamara on her return to Makeni her home town was honored by Mogbwemo Queens to captain the team and her strike a few minutes before the first recess opened the deadlock to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at the break marking her fifth goal out of seven appearances.

Winger Fatmata K. Turay scored her third goal in the league with a scintillating finish in the second half accomplishing the effort of Wuyah Mohai who provided the assist as they ease past the host with a comfortable 2-0 win.

Mogbwemo Queens continues its unbeaten run and remains top on the log with nineteen points out of seven matches played, recording six wins and a draw against their Southern region counterpart Ram K FC

In Kabala Town Field, Albitaya Queens lost to RAM K female Football team by a goal to nil and the only goal of the match came in the second half of play RAM K Football Club hold on to snatch all three points away from Home.
