24yrs old Hassan Mansaray a Labourer made his third appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Fraudulent Conversion Contrary to section 20 of (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 17th May 2022 at Kroo Bay the western area in Freetown Fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property that is to say one blue Tecno Spark8 pro mobile phone valued two million five hundred thousand Leones (2,500,000) entrusted to you by Patricia Manneh for the purpose of recharging property of the said Patricia Manneh.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty on his first appearance and was later granted twenty million Leones bail.
The accused person did not reach the bail conditions and he took a month at the male correctional center in Freetown.
However, he was discharged pursuant to section 94 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965, while Inspector Musu E Kpulun prosecuted the matter.
