Ibrahim Bunduka a Carpenter and Awil Wise made their first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on three court charges to wit Conspiracy contrary to law and two count ranging from Larceny contrary to Law.
According to the particulars of offence on the 10th of June 2022 at No.23 Williams Street the western area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a crime on count two and three both accused persons on the same place and date Stole one black L.G Mobile phone value four million Leones (4,000,000) property of Fatmata Samura.
The charges were read and explained to the accused persons and the first accused person pleaded guilty on both counts while the second accused person pleaded not guilty.
The accused persons were unrepresented and the prosecutor informed the Bench that in respect of count one and two for the first accused pleaded for mercy. He was sentenced to three Months imprisonment whilst the second accused person was sent to the male correctional center in Freetown. Matter adjourned to the 23rd June 2022 for further hearing, while Deputy Superintendent of police Eric Aloycius Deen Prosecuting the matter.
