Defense Counsel, lawyer Williams has on Tuesday 12th April 2022 cross-examines Police Investigator, Christiana Nicole in the ongoing preliminary investigation into alleged murder at Dwarzark Farm involving three individuals who were charged in connection with the murder.
According to the police, the accused persons on Wednesday 27 October 2021 at Upper George Brook Dwarzark Farm in the Western Area Freetown murdered Sinneh Koroma.
Richard Maggao and Saidu Kasseh were faced with one count charge of murder contrary to law.
During cross-examination of the witness, Kamara, defense counsel, lawyer Williams argued that the deceased was a drunkard citing the statements made at the police station in respect of the deceased alleged murder.
However, the witness said she wasn’t aware of that despite her being the investigator.
Kamara also mentioned that she cannot recall the time spent on the investigation as well as the persons she first investigated during the course of the investigation.
More witnesses are expected to testify in the matter. Meanwhile, Magistrate Sahr Kekura sent the accused person’s back to prison and he adjourned the matter to the 20th April 2022. Sergeant Dwight Marcarthy prosecuted the matter.
