The Sierra Leone Cricket Association has on 22nd March 2022 received financial support from PKF and Access Bank ahead of the female national team on their international T20 Series in Lagos Nigeria.
Five Countries set to take part in the tournament after the withdrawal of Cameroon. Sierra Leone contingent is will depart its shores on the 27th March 2022. As part of their preparation, the management of the team writes several business houses for financial help.
The Association writes PKF Mason Hill for help as part of their commitment to support the women team they have pledged Sponsorship of the team will be playing with their kits and playing shoes during their participation at the tournament that is slated from the 28th March to the 3rd April 2022, they donated 10 million Leones to the team.
In receiving the Cheques the Chairman of the Cricket board Francis Trevor Samura and the director of female Cricket Elizabeth French thanked the PKF Mason for their kind gesture to help the female team, she assured that the ladies will bring the trophy back home as the team is in high spirits to face their counterparts.
In another development, the management of Access Bank of Sierra Leone on 22nd March 2022 presented a Cheques of 20 million Leones to the Sierra Leone Cricket Association as their support to help the women team, the presentation was done by the managing director of the bank Ganiya Sami and Anfa B. Adams and other staff members of Bank receiving the Cheques is the director of female Elizabeth French alongside the Chairman Francis Samura thank the bank and hope their firmed relationship will not be the last one, the team have been in an intensifying training ahead of the T20 series in Nigeria.
