The attention of the Kambia Police division has been drawn on the 10th February, 2021 to a 31yrs old Tina Dumbuya (Aka Mr. T), a final year University Student and a to-be Engineer whose body parts has been reported missing from the district mortuary.

According to members from the deceased family said Mr. T fell sick and was taken to the Kambia government hospital on Saturday 6th of February 2021 with all body part intact, he eventually died and was handed over to the mortuary team.

It came as a surprise to the family on a Wednesday at the time of making arrangements to buried the late final year student, they went to collect the remains of late Mr. T suddenly found out that few of his body parts has been mutilated with a big slash cut on the left foot showing the naked bone of the decease.

However, the management of the Kambia district hospital has denied any wrong doing rather suspected that the act must have been done by rats.

Police, Civil Society Movement and other human rights defenders have demonstrated interest into this incident and that the mortuary attendant Pa Yamba who had been in charge of the mortuary since Ebola crises was reported to be on the run, after police extended him invitation and others for interrogation.

Various Civil Society Movements in Kambia has issued a press release condemning the suspected mutilation and call for a speedy investigation into the matter by the Police and the District health management team.

However, the 31 yrs old Engineer Student has been laid to rest at the Kambia cemetery on last week. Young and old were in attendance to lay to rest this individual who many describe as friendly, love for humanity and approachable.
