Bo Rangers Football Club has on 31st January 2022 launched a formal complaint to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) against East End Lions Football Club for illegal pursuit of their player Prince Barrie.

According to Solomon Demby, the public relations Officer of Bo Rangers Football Club East End Lions Football Club initially did contact for the services of their player Prince Barrie the process is not professional in terms of securing a player.

“As a responsible club we have made a formal complaint to the Sierra Leone Football Association on what East End Loins Football club did to us, and the SLFA has acknowledged our letter and had promised to look into the matter we are waiting on their final decision.”

He confirmed that the Bo Rangers Football Club still have a contract with the player and in December the player received his salary before heading to the Africa Cup Nations and on Leone Stars visitation to Statehouse he confirmed to the whole World that he is a BO Rangers player, but he was not aware of him leaving for East End Lions Football and as it stands the player is still a Rangers player and East End Loins.

He added that as a Football Club they have never acquired players in an unprofessional manner, but why do people want to get the players of BO Rangers the illegal way and not the right channel, he points out even though East End Lions have taken the player to train they confident that the said player is not going to play for East End Lions in the second rounds of the Premier League that is going to start on 11th February 2022.

According to Prince Barrie, there is no contract with him and BO Rangers for the last six months and that moves him to pen down for East End Lions Football Club.

According to Abdul Karim Kabbah as a club, they have done the needful to get the player that makes it possible for them to give the player a jersey to start training with his teammates before the commencement of the second rounds of the Premier League.

This is not the first time players are logging head with clubs in terms of signatures as to who owns players or not, but the Football Association and the Premier League board has a lot to do in addressing such situations

BO Rangers Football club is currently leading the Sierra Leone Premier League table while East End Lions are occupying the second position.
