Brother Testifies how his brother was allegedly killed by 3 people

The elder brother of late Sinneh Koroma, Kassim Koroma has narrated before magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No 1, how his brother was brutally murdered by Unisa Samura and two others.

The accused persons on the above action, Unisa Samura, Richard Maggao and Saidy Kasseh Sesay on Wednesday 27th of October 2021, at Upper George Brook Dawzak Farm, Freetown, allegedly murdered Sinneh Koroma.

The pathologist report in the police file indicated that the thirty six years old deceased Sinneh Koroma died of multiple blunt force fractures. The report further indicates that the deceased suffers injuries on the neck, spine, lungs, chest and lower limbs.

All three accused persons during police investigation denied the allegation of murder put before them.

Led in evidence by sergeant 9155 MaCarthy Dwight Macathy the witness Kassim Koroma said after taking the deceased to the hospital, the doctor advise him to report the matter to the police.

 He said he made the report on behalf of the deceased Sinneh Koroma at New England Ville police station.

He said the police issued a medical request form which he took back to the police doctor who advice for the deceased to stay at the ward for observation.

“My Lord he was there until he give up the ghost”, the witness said.

Explaining further, the witness said he went and informed the police at New England who asked him to make statement.

In cross examination, the witness said the deceased was his junior brother. He said he was not there when the deceased was injured.

“It was my sister who informed me on the phone that the accused have manhandled my brother”, he stated in cross examination.

The witness said he met his brother at home in a critical condition and further called out the names of those that beat him up.

The deceased named all three accused persons including a bike ride whose name he could not recall.

At the end of cross examination, Magistrate Sahr Kekura adjourned the matter to the 26th of January 2021.
