Ibrahim Sorie Kamara made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on two count charges of incitement contrary to law and Misuse of device contrary to section 30 (1) (a) of the Cybercrime Act 2021
According to the particulars of offence on Friday 10th December 2021 at Fogbo Village in the western area Waterloo District in Freetown incited the public to commit a breach of the peace against the Government of Sierra Leone. On count two the accused person misused a techno 6 mobile phone device to commit an offence of incitement.
The defence counsel K. Williams applied for bail on behalf of the accused person, but was refused due to seriousness of the allegation and were sent to the male correctional center in Freetown.
Assistant Superintendent of police Ibrahim S. Mansaray prosecuting the matter, and has been adjourned to the 22nd December 2021.
