The ranting jolts our response mechanism once again with another baloney, drawing from imprecise leaks from a supposed audit report of 2020 that President Bio provided fake receipts from hotels. This is an outrageous lie and it is velvety in nature so that we are in position to see through.
Here is how we can detect the falsehood: the accusation has not provided us names of supposed hotels that the Auditor General checked to verify the false receipt. This is the laze we have consistently seen from the debased source capitalizing on the perverted data base of our hallowed audit service that became partisan overnight, trading information with opposition bigots even before such information are brought parliament as provided under the law.
We have consistently warned that data obtained in audit need to be ascertained beyond the text. But how can people rely on arm chair resounding of data that might be faulty. What are the forensic tools of analyses that have been employed in arriving at the conclusion that the receipts were fake? It is easy to make such outrageous false claims.
You speak about the office of the President as guilty of such fraud. Assuming it is true for argument sake, there must be people charged with handling the President’s imprest who must be named as having committed the fraud. This is another hollow in the rude allegation against the president and it is dead on arrival like always.
It is understandable why under the administration of former President Ernest Bai Koroma the audit reported skirted around the Presidential travels. There were a lot of corrupt activities tainting presidential frivolous spending that became a musical tune of ‘munku boss pan matches…’ Unfortunately, we did not capture these details in past audit reports to have nailed the office of the Koroma presidency.
Now, the ranting of the disgruntled brother is actually the source of the trouble of the deposed Auditor General, Larra Taylor Pearce. For grapevines can make the connection that her audit reports have been leaking to opposition hatchet men long before the embargo is supposed to be lifted for sharing.
We need more proof to connect dots in proving grave allegations beyond insinuations that are clearly bereft of factually basis to be construed as defensible.
Even the crazy man in street cannot buy the idea that president Bio fake receipts and had unsettled hotel bills. Only bloody guys hanging on razor edge to return power can fall for such dumb ideas.
