The Sierra Leone Ambassador to Liberia also accredited to Còte d’Ivoire, Ambassador Eddie Sidikie Massally accompanied by his Head of Chancery, Mrs Sia Annie Tejan, has on Monday 29th November 2021 officially presented his letters of credence to President Alassane Dramane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire at his Presidential palace in Abidjan.
Ambassador Eddie Massally was in the queue with colleague Ambassadors from Mauritania, Italy, Spain and Indonesia.
While presenting his letters of credence, Ambassador Massally explained the historic relationship between Sierra Leone and Còte d’Ivoire, noting that His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and the people of Sierra Leone appreciate the Government of Còte d’Ivoire for the ongoing TRANSCO CLSG electrification project, which he said that Sierra Leone has made great efforts in fulfilling its side of the project.
In his address to the five Ambassadors, President Ouattara spoke about his country’s bilateral relations with the respective countries, noting that Còte d’Ivoire was open and ready for business especially in economic and commercial cooperation.
