Bank theft Suspect granted Le50m bail

Mani Ngaujia made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on two count charges ranging from Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on Monday 22nd March at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank Siaka Stevens Street the western area in Freetown stole the sum of six million Leones (6,000,000) property of Wuya Elizabeth Jabsie.

In count two on the same date at the same place the accused person stole the sum of two million Leones (2,000,000) from Daniel George.

The defense counsel Charles I. Williams renewed his bail application on behalf of the accused person.

Magistrate Keikura granted the accused person bail in the sum of fifty million Leones or one surety in like sum the surety must be gainfully employed from a recognized institution, he/she should produce either employment letter or NASSIT identity card and he/ she must be responsible citizen.

 The surety should be permanently resident in Freetown, bail to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar.

Police constable 12090 Zainab Bangura is prosecuting the matter which is adjourned to the 14th October 2021.
