The Sierra Leone Prison Doctor has defied the Court by failing to make his appearance felt in court. He was expected to tender his findings on the Chairman and Leader of the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray despite the Order of the Honorable Justice Samuel O. Taylor.
The matter came up yesterday Monday 27th September 2021 the doctor and the accused Kamarainba Mansaray where not present in court.
The Chief Prison Officer, Daniel Davies when summoned by Justice Samuel O. Taylor informed the Court that the Prison Doctor will only appear in Court upon the instructions of the Prisons Director.
He further informed the court that he reminded the Doctor about his tendering of his findings again on that very date; yesterday 27th September 2021.Honourable Samuel O. Taylor then asserted that the conduct of the Prisons Doctor will be reported to the Honorable Chief Justice Desmond Babatunde Edwards.
When the matter was mentioned the defense team was also absent and the matter adjourned to the 29th September 2021.
The matter was presided over by Honorable Justice Samuel O. Taylor at the Sexual Offence Model Court, Siaka Stevens Street, Freetown.
