CEO of the Africa Youth Voices Ambassador Anthony Navo has assured journalists that securing a deal with DSTV Multi Choice Network means in effect that the media entity has gone global. He added that this is an opportunity for the country to showcase its local contents and touristic untapped potentials.
He stated that striking the deal has been arduous tasks in terms of meeting the technical parameters. He said since establishing ten years ago it has been his dream to go global but had always wanted to strengthen locally. He assured that this development is pregnant job opportunities for Sierra Leoneans.
The General Manager of AYV Dr. Lakko paid tribute to his staff that has been supportive of the expansion. Joe Abbas Bangura representing Africel said it is a major milestone for AYV to be linked to most widely watched media platform on the continent. He said it is something that comes with unique opportunities for content creators.
For Adonis Aboud who has been very pivotal in striking the deal he stated that he is part of the media family. He reflected on the long expressed dream of Ambassador Navo to establish a media empire which has come this far as something awe inspiring. He noted that passion is a strong element in achieving whatever someone desires on earth.
He stressed the need for quality broadcasting adding that this development means for Sierra Leone great opportunities to rebrand the country from the Tribalistic label to bring out the sterling qualities of the country.
