32yrs old Saidu Kamara made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit threatening language contrary to section 3 (1) of the public order Act No.46 of 1965.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 24th November 2021 at Tombo High way Kenny Town in the Waterloo western rural area in Freetown did threaten to kill Walter Ibrahim Vandy with intent to provoke him to commit a breach of the peace.
The defence counsel F. Kaikai applied for bail on behalf of the accused person that he is a Sierra Leonean resident within this jurisdiction that he has reliable sureties who are willing and ready to enter into recognizance on his behalf that he is not a flight risk he made his application pursuant to section 79 (3) of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965
However, Magistrate Keikura granted the accused person bail in the sum of five million Leones or one surety in like sum surety must be resident in Freetown the said surety should produce valid identity card depicting his/her address in Freetown to be approved by the Master and registrar.
Inspector D.A Taylor prosecuting the matter, and has been adjourned to the 23rd December 2021.
