18 years old Alie Kamara a Fisher man made his first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.3 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 21st June 2023 at Susu Village the western area in Freetown Stole three big size cooking pot, two small size cooking pot, three big size plastic bowls, two plastic bucket, six glass plates, six plastic plates, one aluminum cooking mortar, one dozen metal spoons all to the total sum of three thousand four hundred and ten Leones (Le 3,410) property of Wuya Kamara.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Meanwhile, the witness for the prosecution was absent and Magistrate Bangura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to the 28th July 2023, while Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy is prosecuting the matter.
