29yrs old Emmanuel Israel Simbo a business man made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Fraudulent Conversion Contrary to section of 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on the 24th January 2021 at No.6 Haja Seray drive, hill station the western area in Freetown converted to his own use or benefit certain property that is to say one unregistered Low-bed trailer Value three hundred and thirty five thousand Leones (350,000) entrusted to him by Madam Lawrine S.A Kanneh for the purpose of safe keeping
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and no plea taken.
The accused person was unrepresented.
Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional centre in Freetown.
Matter adjourned to the 4th August 2022, while Assistant Superintendent of police Christiana Davies Cole Esq prosecuting the matter.
