According to the particulars of the offense, on Sunday, 7th September 2025, at New Life City, off Wilkinson Road in the Western Area of Freetown, the defendant allegedly attempted to murder Vivat Rogers by inflicting knife wounds to her neck, both hands, and the left side of her face.

Count three specified that the defendant wounded Rogers with the intent to cause her grievous bodily harm.

Counts four and five detailed that, on the same date and place, Fofanah maliciously wounded and assaulted Vivat Rogers, occasioning actual bodily harm.

When the charges were read and explained to the defendant, no plea was taken.

The prosecutor, Sergeant 8811 Florence M. Wilson, informed the bench that she had served the defendant, who is unrepresented, with the necessary documents.

Magistrate Fornah refused bail and remanded the defendant to the male correctional facility in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to 20th October 2025.
