Kamboi Eagles Football Club Captain and sensational defender Yakuba Koroma is looking forward to another impressive season with the Eagles after he was outstanding throughout the 2021/2022 Premier League.
Yakuba Koroma (born on 20th March 2003) is a Sierra Leonean Professional Football who plays as a right back for his Premier League club Kamboi Eagles, he is known for his range of passes, speed, strength, and providing assists.
He can also play as left-back and central defence and has a lot of skills in keeping the defence line. Koroma is regarded as one of the best defenders in Sierra Leone with lots of prospects.
The 19-year-old defender started his football career in the Western Area Freetown with a division one side called Kissy All-Stars in 2010-2012 where he performed excellently and catch the attention of FC Sanda football club.
He entered contact with the team in 2012-2014 as he spent another two years with extraordinary performance and in 2016-2018 he played for the Giants of Grass Field football club.
From 2018-2020 he played for one of the top-flight football clubs FC Kallon and made (17) appearances, five assists and scored two goals.
From 2021-2022 he played for the Kamboi Eagles football club and made (34) appearances and assisted (15) and scored (4) goals.
Yakuba Koroma has also made national called up and appearances in 2020 he was invited to the national Under-20 side and his performance catch a lot of attention as many clubs were seeking his signature.
Many young footballers have considered him as their role model in Sierra Leone’s Football.
Yakuba Koroma’s impressive performance in the 2020/21/2022 Premier League season has been tracked by a lot of Premier League clubs in and out of Sierra Leone.
