A house wife of Rogbere junction in Mafoki chiefdom in the North West region of Bombali district, Memunatu Kamara was in court to testify in a matter involving Santigie Moses Kargbo, Chernor Sesay, Ishmael Samuka, Micheal Kinny Ndanema and Abdul Bombali Kanu (accused persons) in a murder matter involving the death of Mohamed Kamara (AKA Speedo) her deceased husband.
The accused persons were arraigned in court before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Magistrate court No.1 in Freetown on the 15th April, 2021.
Santigie Moses Kargbo and four otherswere arraigned before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Freetown on one count indictment of murder contrary to the Laws of Sierra Leone.
Testifying in court, the witness said when she saw the accused persons they started running after her even though she was pregnant and the accused persons said they wanted to silence her as she will expose them.
Hearing that the witness said she started running with her pregnancy in the community, and one Abass came to her rescue. The witness said she later went home and met her husband dead with blood all over his body. The disclosed that after examining the deceased they discovered that he was shot five times.
ASP I.S.Mansaray represented the State while the Lawyer representing the accused persons was not present. Matter has been adjourned to the23rd April, 2021.
