Albert Baron Ansu
Barry Abdurrahman Jalloh is a victim of circumstance. We have done our due diligence of his company, WEGO and the result reflects a clean bill of health in terms of all what it takes to stand tall in the shrinking space of credible companies that deserve to compete for bids. The vetting of his business documents and the sincerity laden in his expression, even to the extent of owing up to certain odd claims are tell-tale sign that this guy is gentlemanly.
Don’t tell me there is no art to tell minds construction by looking at the face. For once take the notion of Leslie Man: “I don’t take anything at face value. I always look for the reasons people are the way they are.”
Little wonder why records at the National Public Procurement Authority can attest to the fact that WEGO is a responsive bid winner.
In my interaction with the young enterprising CEO, he cast the impression of someone who thinks big and can be prepared to take challenges. So it is possible for such a man to run into ambushes where trust can be at stake. The consequences can be of grave proportion. But Jalloh sees it as a learning process and not anything to flag him down. He is like the storm can come but we run through and rise above it to the height of calm.
Without being specific Jalloh bares out his gut feelings about the misadventure in some business partnership that could turn sour.
Yes, our business environment is a minefield. Some investors can come as sheep in wolf clothing and you do a lot for them to have a foothold; down the line, you realize that they are actually bent on breaking you down.
The narrative encapsulates the story of WEGO CEO as Barry Jalloh himself explains his ordeal in the face of trying to hold out his own amongst desperate competitors. But his depth of faith, diligence and love for humanity and country is his confidence that there are higher heights for him to climb.
Barry Abdulrahman Jalloh is a young entrepreneur to watch in aiding the process of effective service delivery of government pro people agenda.
