In a remarkable display of unity and gratitude, Bo District Council Chairman, Governor Victor Korseh Hindowa, embarked on a monumental thank-you tour across the Bo District, joined by Honorable Ambrose Maada Lebby, the seating Member of Parliament, and Honorable Bockarie Bindi Hindowa, the Deputy Minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs, who also serves as Chairman for Cluster 6 in Bo District under the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party.
This historic event unfolded from October 27th to 29th, 2023, with the kickoff at Njala town hall, Komboya Chiefdom in Bo District, and an overwhelming presence of chiefdom authorities, political party stakeholders, and grassroots supporters.
The journey continued on the 28th of October, as the tour found success in Ngalu town, Bagbe Chiefdom, where chiefdom stakeholders, SLPP members, and supporters all turned out in solidarity.
Distinguished speakers at these events included Deputy Minister Hon. Bockarie Bindi Hindowa, Chiefdom Authorities from Komboya, Bagbe, and Badjie Chiefdoms, MP Hon. Ambrose Maada Lebby, Ret. Captain Paul Thomas, the 2023 election campaign manager for Cluster 6, Bo District Council Chairman Victor Korseh Hindowa, and other esteemed stakeholders from the three chiefdoms.
Chairman Hindowa used the platform to highlight the council’s developmental initiatives and assured the people of Bo District that the government, led by H.E. Dr. Ret. Brigadier President Julius Maada Bio, would steadfastly work with them and other development partners to bring President Bio’s visionary “Big Five” agenda to fruition.
The tour reached its grand finale on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Ngelehun, Badjia Chiefdom, Bo District, culminating in a captivating and culturally rich performance. This journey showcased the power of unity and progress in the heart of Sierra Leone.
