United Nations Development Programme Launches Feasibility Study to Modernize Ferry Transport

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on behalf of the Sierra Leonean government, has announced plans to engage a consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study aimed at modernizing ferry transport and tourism infrastructure in Sierra Leone.

This ambitious initiative, supported by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), seeks to enhance the country’s ferry services an essential mode of transportation connecting coastal communities and to promote sustainable tourism development.
