Ibrahim Kamano, 29; Sahr Yambasu, 26; and Samuel Kai Kellie have made another appearance before Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah at the Pademba Road Court No. 1 on three-count charges of conspiracy, burglary and larceny, contrary to Sections 25(1) and 13(a) of the Larceny Act of 1916, and receiving stolen property, contrary to Section 33(1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, on Thursday, 8 January 2026, at Juba Hill in the Western Area of Freetown, the first and second defendants allegedly, with intent to steal, broke into the dwelling house of Wuyata Saww and stole one black Enster 4G IP CCTV camera, bearing serial number 202509170010, valued at three thousand two hundred and sixty Leones (Le3,260), the property of the said Wuyata Saww.
The second count further stated that on the same date and at the same location, the third defendant, Samuel Kai Kellie, received one black Enster 4G IP CCTV camera, serial number 202509150010, knowing the same to have been stolen.
In his ruling, Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah granted bail to the second and third defendants in the sum of twenty thousand Leones (Le20,000) each, with two sureties in like sum. The sureties must be residents of Freetown, and the bail is to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Registrar.
The first defendant, however, was remanded at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown.
The matter has been adjourned to 9 February 2026 for further hearing.
