Magistrate Peter Gogra has discharged Adikalie Sama Dumbuya and Abdulai Sesay who were charged for larceny offence.
The two suspects made another appearance before magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court in Freetown on a counts charge to wit conspiracy contrary to law and Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet it was alleged that on the 6th of June 2021 back of Bintumani hotel Aberdeen the Western Area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Larceny and stole one red cotton bag valued twenty thousand Leones (Le 20,000/00) containing the sum three million seven hundred and ninety five thousand Leones (3,795,000/00) all to the total valued of three million eight hundred and fifteen thousand Leones (3,815,000/00) property of Kadiatu Sesay.
The court clerk mentioned the matter and the complainant raise her right hand up in the dock and told the magistrate that the accused persons standing in the dock were her younger brothers and have been instructed by their mother to drop the charges since the accused persons have learnt their lesson by spending fourteen days in the Male correctional center in Freetown.
