Mabalu Kamara 26yrs old trader made her nine appearances before the principal magistrate Mark Ngegba on the Padempa Road Court No.1 in Freetown for an alleged human trafficking of one Alie Kungbana a 14yrs old boy.
She was before the court on three counts charges, procuring the commission of human trafficking contrary to section 18 of the Anti-human trafficking Act No.7 of 2005 and transportation by the abuse of a position of vulnerability contrary to section 2(2) of the Anti-human trafficking Act No.2 of 2005.
Police alleged that the accused on Friday the 30th day of September, 2022 at ferry Terminal kissy dockyard, Freetown by means of deception transported Alie Kungboma from portee whatf, Freetown to Ferry Terminal, kissy dockyard Freetown in an attempt to traffic him to Guinea Bissau by the abuse of a position of vulnerability for the purpose of exploitation.
The Prosecutor Corporal Z Bangura intimated the court that her witness is absent.
She kindly asked for adjournment.
Magistrate Mark Ngegba adjourned the matter to the 3rd November 2022 accused remanded in custody.
