Three defendants, Alhaji Abdul Bah (student), Alfred Mansaray (student), and Solomon Mansaray (pupil), made another appearance before Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Court No. 2 in Freetown on two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and burglary and larceny, contrary to Section 25(1) and 13(a) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, on Thursday, 9th October 2025, at T.J & B Close, off Pipeline, Juba in the Western Area of Freetown, the accused conspired together with other persons unknown to commit burglary and larceny.
The second count stated that on the same date and place, the defendants broke into the dwelling house of Ivan Dekuni and stole one HP laptop computer and one Lenovo laptop computer, valued at NLe 19,000, property of Ivan Dekuni.
When the charges were read and explained to the defendants, no plea was taken. Defense counsel A.B. Sesay renewed his previous bail applications on behalf of the accused persons. Magistrate Fornah subsequently granted bail to all three defendants in the sum of NLe 10,000 each, with sureties in like sum. The sureties must be responsible citizens residing in Freetown with fixed addresses and must produce valid national identity cards reflecting their addresses. Bail is to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Registrar.
The matter was adjourned to 9th December 2025 for further hearing.
