Thieves break into Human Rights office, steal valuable items

Unidentified thieves broke into local human rights office building, Center for Community Education Network and Development in the Bombali district northern Sierra Leone that seeks the interest of vulnerable people were robbed on Thursday 10th February 2020.

It was reported that the thieves entered through a window on Thursday and stole properties valued at Millions of Leones.

The Executive Director for Center for Community Education Network and Development Alhaji Musa Conteh confirmed that the thieves break in to the office through the window and ran away with stole items worth millions.

He continued that this happened at the night hours as they made away with desktop computers, plasma TV, printer and some motor bike parts and other related items worth millions.

The incident, he said has been reported to the regional law enforcement headquarter in Makeni city and police are investigating the matter.

He concluded saying that it’s the first time such incident has occurred and urged the police to investigate the matter.
