Joselyn Manley has been sentenced to 24 months imprisonment for the offence of larceny, contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to court records, on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd July 2025, Manley stole property belonging to Sky Vision College, located at No. 5 Main Motor Road, Wilberforce, Freetown.
The stolen items included two surface water pumps valued at Le5,000, a generator battery valued at Le4,500, and fifty liters of diesel worth Le1,350 bringing the total value to Le10,850.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charges when she appeared before Magistrate Soa Mamakoh Betty Kallon at the Pademba Road Court.
Magistrate Kallon, noting that Manley had no defense and freely admitted to the offence, handed down a sentence of 24 months imprisonment.
