38yrs old Abdul Rahman Bayoh a Security made his first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on a date between 1st September to 5th October 2022 at the institute of Public Administration and management (IPAM) site Bureh Town the western rural in Freetown did steal sixteen thousand five hundred hollow cement blocks valued two hundred and ninety seven thousand new Leones(Le 297,000) property of Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) whilst in custody of Adetola Otufowora.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor seek for a short adjournment date for him to get his witness.
Counsel representing the accused person A.R Kargbo applied for bail for and on behalf of the accused person.
Mainwhile, Magistrate Ngegba refused bail for him to hear the evidence. Matter adjourned to the 18th November 2022, whilse Assistant Superintendent of police Ibrahim S Mansaray Prosecuting the matter.
