TFHL Engages In Maiden Hiking To Kamboi Hills

Tobmax Foundation for Humanity and Leadership engaged in a maiden hiking to the Kamboi Hills with tens and thousands of young people during Sierra Leone 62th Independence Anniversary in Kenema.

Moses Ndoinjeh, Current Head of Klub TOBMAX Entity said the hiking had been planned by the Entity in order to create that synergy with nature as well for those who came to enjoy the games and the beautiful places in the Kamboi Hills. He called on stakeholders to  hold tourism into high esteem as it would boost the county’s economy and create a social change.

Joseph Amara Bangura, member of Tobmax Foundation for Humanity and Leadership said the hiking marked as a watershed moment for TOBMAX Entity and the people of Kenema by extension as a way of exploring God-giving habitats as well setting the record straight for others to see. He revealed that this would be an ongoing event every year with a different facelift. “In diverse ways, we are dependent on nature and we have to live with them peacefully,” Bangura affirmed.

He said this served as the first ever hiking Kenema had got and it looked strange to many people because of the glamour tied around it with people claiming hills, hearing the singing of the birds, dancing of the trees and the fragrant odor of the forest.

 Bangura mentioned that the theme that carries the event made it clear for youths engagement in creating the lives that matter. He urged people to resonate themselves with climate change for a successful and friendly coexistence of nature and man.

Musa Kanteh, Erstwhile Financial Officer of Tobmax Foundation for Humanity and Leadership felt pleased for engaging in such activity. “For me, this is the best experience I have got. It is being awesome so far, ” Kanteh stated.

He said hiking brought people together in order to explore nature and its surrounding; noting that it would be supported by other youths and stakeholders in the country.

Daniel Vandi Koi, Vice Chairman of Tobmax Foundation for Humanity and Leadership said the experience of the hiking was so great as they met with old friends craving to enjoy the Kamboi Hills. Honorable Alhaji Mohamed Alie Bah, former Minister of State, office of the Vice President, former ICT Adviser, former Director of Communications at the Ministry of Information and Communications has resigned from the All People’s Congress (APC) party.

He made this known in a letter addressed to the National Secretary General of the All People’s Congress Party (APC).

According to Mr Bah he said his reasons are based on tribalism, income, race and religion and divisions amongst party members and executives wishing the party.

He mentioned that members of the party have divided themselves into groups and tribalism t the core center of it wherein members of the party are being rejected based on these outcomes of events he said depriving them of their democratic rights of supporting a particular candidate vying for a particular position or coming from a particular region.

Honorable Alhaji Mohamed Bah has served the party as the Kailhun District  Secretary  from 2012-2022 when he joined the party in 2011 with an honorary membership number AA006558 to which during his service he said he played a pivotal role to the gains and wins of the party in Kailhun and the East as a whole.

Mr Alhaji Mohamed Alie Bah has resigned from the APC party with immediate effect and thanked the Party and supporters who believed in him.
