Twenty-Two years old Idrissa Tholley a Taylor made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on three count charges to wit wounding with intent, Wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 5th February 2023 at No.4b Susan’s Bay the western area in Freetown Maliciously wounded and assaulted Nabieu Sorie Kamara in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun lead Prosecution witness number two Fatmata Bangura a trader she recognized the complainant Nabieu Sorie Kamara as her husband and she recognized the accused person on the day of the naming ceremony, she recalled.
On the 5th February 2023 she was at home something transpired between her husband and the accused person they made naming ceremony for their child the accused person was not invited but he was served.
The accused said the food is not enough for him he need one plate food after the naming ceremony her husband took the rented chairs to the owner the accused follows the complainant and he pushed him at the same time pickup stone stabbed him on his back and his head she saw blood oozing from her husband the complainant.
The witness said upon that she went to Eastern police station where statement was obtained from her.
The accused person was unrepresented by legal representative.
Meanwhile Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown.
The matter is adjourned to 27th March 2023.
