After a successful Election, Taekwondo President Oness Abayomi Johnson on the 15th of July 2022 concluded a two-day visit to the North West region Part of Sierra Leone, Kafu bullom Chiefdom in Port Loko district.
The rationale for the visit according to President Oness Abayomi Johnson is to foster the development of the Taekwondo Martial Arts sport in Port Loko, to help bring awareness of the Sport to other Schools and help revive it with the Military Camp in Lungi.
Gerald L.A Davies, North West Chairman for the Sierra Leone Taekwondo Association expresses his thanks and appreciation to the school’s Children and Parents for their warm embrace of the Sport in just their first engagement with them.
He affirmed that the newly elected Administration visit different schools in the Port Loko district as part of their efforts to catch young Martial Arts sports. He noted there plans to tour around the entire country to spread the Sport to different Schools because the Association aims to make the sport an enviable Sport in the Country.
