The dynamic Honorable Member of Parliament representing the people of constituency 120 in the Western Area Urban Hon. Hindolo T. Sandy has on Sunday 11th December 2022, commenced the Second phase road construction project with a colossal sum of 1.1 Billion Leones for a 2km road at Back street, Cessel Farm in the Eastern part of the city.
In his statement on the ongoing road project, the developmentally oriented Member of Parliament intimated that he took such herculean due to the endless demand from his constituents to fix the road. He added that his stance to embark on such road construction is to complement President Bio’s transformational strides in infrastructural development.
Honorable Sandy said the Road construction of the Back street when finalized, would enhance the free flow of people and vehicles. The good intention of the Road construction is to link other communities. He also underscored the tremendous efforts his constituents are making to actualize development in constituency 120.
Given an overview of the project, the developmental-oriented MPs said the project is a 2km road and it was constructed by him and his constituents during the phase one project. He furthered that and went on to acknowledge support from Mohamed Gento in the second phase of the project. He also languished praises on Mohamed Gento for helping him to support his constituents from his deprived communities /constituency.
On his part, Engineer Victor applauded the MP for venturing into road constriction for his people and alluded to the huge capital investment made by the vibrant MP. He also implored other Members of Parliament to emulate his work.
Representing the women, Hawa Kamara also embraced Honorable Sandy with tremendous praises. She described the MP as a man with a good heart for his people in terms of development.
Abass K . Turay, the Community Youth Leader acknowledged the work of Hon. Sandy is championing development for his constituency. He said many developments had been accomplished by the MP in all corners of his constituency.
Community Leader Mr.Mohamed Turay, said the MP has shown that he is the man of the people in terms of development and understanding of his subject. He called on the community to rally behind Hon. Sandy assures him of the total support he deserves.
