The Western Area Football Association (WAFA) has on 14th February 2022 eliminated Estate Contractors Football Club from the ongoing super ten competition in the Western region.
The Disciplinary Committee decided to eliminate Estate Contractors for failing to register for the ongoing competition super ten competitions after two notices have been issued by the Western Area Football Association. And in the notice, it is clear that if any club failed to register it will be to their detriment.
According to the Western Area Football Association, Estate Contractors is the only team that failed to comply with the above notice put out by Western Area. Therefore all other teams that are supposed to play Estate Contractors in the fixtures are rendered void.
According to Chris Massaquoi the Chairman of Estate Contractors Football Club, they are not to comment on the Elimination of the team from the Western area Football Association super ten competitions.
The club has been pivotal in the just-concluded Western Area football Division one League qualifying with the highest points from the Eastern part of Freetown zonal.
