A twenty two year old man in Bandajuma Louwa chiefdom kailahun District is reported to have killed his biological father in order to have a share of his father’s cocoa PLANTATION. Report states that the father prior to his death always cautioned his son to put an end to his unacceptable behaviour and be a good man that society will appreciate hence he will never receive anything from his property when he should have died.
The report furthered that the son didn’t adhere to the advice of his father but rather continued to put on more uncalled for behaviour which according to the report forced the father to disown him, noting it is against this back ground that the son allegedly developed hatred mind for his father and decided to kill him in order for him to Have a share of his father’s property.
The report further disclosed that the twenty two years old man avoided almost his entire family and only came around when it was time to harvest the said cocoa with the motive of causing mayhem in order to get rid of the harvested cocoa.
The son when contacted by A-Z the son said that he was never happy since the time his father disowned him noting the decision of his father to disown him also deprived him of having a share of his father’s property caused a lot of negative implications on him. He said he never regretted the action of killing his father. Meanwhile, the remains of the deceased have been laid to rest whilst the twenty two years old son is in police custody helping them with their investigation.
