The Public Relations Officer of the Kono District Corona Virus Emergency Response Centre Simeon Fenchende Johnny has said that some religious leaders are not supporting the fight against the corona virus in the District and the country as a whole.
Mr. Johnny made the pronouncement when talking to A-Z Newspaper relative to two COVID 19 cases reported in the District.

The Kono District Corona Virus Emergency Response Centre Public Relations Officer further expressed dismay over a good number of people in the District that have refused to be vaccinated owing to what certain religious leaders have said about the covid-19 vaccination that is the mark of the beast been implanted into their system unknowingly to them.
Responding to his take on the presidential proclamation on congregational worship, Simeon Fenchende Johnny pointed out that the president’s decision is in line with both the Quran and Bible with regards saving the lives of people. He added that as leadership comes from God President Bio will not be wicked enough to either kill or prevent his people from worshipping God.
He implored all and sundry to take the covid-19 vaccine in order to protect all from contracting the virus. “I urge every religious leader to stop preaching negative messages about the Covid-19 vaccine because they are more or less undermining the fight against the corona virus, ”Mr Johhny opined.
