The tour commenced at Moyamba Junction where the group encouraged traders to embrace the registration process to become eligible to vote President Bio in 2023.
It was then extended to Bo city, and later to Villages in Kakua Chiefdom which include Bayahma, Pedegumahun and Manjama.
In those villages, the youths sensitized and mobilized adults who had attained the voting age, and teenagers who would be following the election year.
The Youths encouraged them to not only register to vote, but to also serve as ambassadors of peace who will contribute to sustainable development by voting in President Bio. The youths further admonished them to become campaign ambassadors in their respective villages.
The residents in turn appreciated the youths for their initiative and promised to do everything lawful to retain power come 2023.
Based on observation, everything seemed alright at the registration centres, and residents seemed compliant with the process.
Free vehicle for transportation was provided by DYSLPP to aid easy access to the registration centers.
The delegation comprised executive members of Dynamic Youths of SLPP, who will extend the mobilization tour to Kenema and Kailahun Districts, respectively.
