SLPLB Postpones All Weekend Matches

The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has on the 16th May 2023 postponed all matches in a week 26th matches across the Country.

The Board made this announcement through a Press Release informing all clubs that week 26 matches have been postponed indefinitely. This postponement came as a result of the official opening of the Southern Arena set to be on Sunday it will start with a Football gala Competition among four Premier League teams including the host BO Rangers FC, but the gala competition is going to kick off on Friday at the BO Mini Stadium.

The Mid Week fixtures in the Sierra Leone Premier League will continue as BO Rangers FC will travel to Kailahun to take on Luawu Football Club at the central field, the Rangers Football Club will look forward to extending their lead at the top of the league in a tight contest against Luawa FC at home.

At the Trade Centre field, East End Lions Football Club welcomes Freetown City Council Football team in a crunch tie as East End Lions look forward to continuing their title haunts as they are currently trailing BO Rangers by ten points with 10 matches remaining.

At the Kenema Townfield Kamboi Eagles welcome Old Edwardian in a crunch tie as the May Parks looking to snatch three points from their two away matches in the league and the host wants to continue getting their winning and avoid the relegation fight.

At Port Loko Town, Bai Bureh Warriors play host to FC Johansen in a tight contest, both teams come to this fixture after picking up wins in their last matches and today’s match will be a decider for two in the match.

According to the, they will reschedule dates for those matches proposed for the coming weekend.
