Vice President 1 of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Harold Nat Johnson on Tuesday 21st February, 2023 donated a full set of football jerseys, four standard match balls, and two sets of training bibs and cones ahead of Prince of Wales School’s crunch tie with Collegiate Secondary School on Wednesday at Police Complex, Kingtom.

Presenting the items to the Senior Secondary School Principal, George Abiodun Lefevre, Mr. Nat Johnson said he got a call from one of the Physical and Health Education teacher, Mr. Y Tulla that the school needed football jerseys, training kits and match balls for this year’s school championship and he immediately called a friend who sells football equipment.

He continued: “We know physical exercise goes side by side with academia. As an old student of class of 1976, I feel obliged to respond to that clarion call from the great school; a school I cherished. I have done a similar donation to the Old Prince of Wales Association (OPWA)”.

“I was fortunate to see this great school lift the competition’s prestigious trophy, and I hope the players will bring back that glory to the school. I urge the pupils to behave well when you are out there to support the school team”, he warned.

Principal of Prince of Wales Secondary School, George Abiodun Lefevre thanked Mr. Nat Johnson for his timely intervention, adding: “I feel thrilled by this presentation because this will serve as an extra motivation to the team.”

He promised that the football items will be taken care of, calling on old Prince Waleans to follow the good example of the SLFA Vice President.
