The Shooting Stars concluded their second training session this evening in preparation for their upcoming international friendly against Ghana on March 25th. The session was graced by the presence of Vice President 1 of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Harold Nat Jonson, whose attendance served as a significant source of motivation for the team.

On behalf of the SLFA President, Thomas Daddy Brima, Vice President Nat-Jonson extended heartfelt appreciation to the players and coaching staff. He emphasized gratitude to the foreign-based players for honouring the association’s invitation acknowledging the vital role their participation plays in strengthening the squad ahead of the AFCON U20 tournament.

In another development, Alusine Dumbuya, fondly called Hercules, has joined the squad here in Morocco after initially failing to travel with the team due to visa-related issues. He participated in today’s training session further reinforcing the team’s readiness and morale.

Despite their recent loss to Morocco, the team remains optimistic, with today’s session focused on refining strategies and building cohesion. These friendlies are pivotal in achieving the objective of selecting a balanced squad, blending home-based and foreign-based talent.
