The meeting is set to be held at the Lawn Tennis Complex lounge at Hill Station in Freetown at 3:pm.

The purpose of the meeting which is not an Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be for SLTA Executive Board to listen to any concerns members may have or need any clarification about the Elective Congress and other burning issues, and address or advice on those. It is clearly stated matters or issues with Constitutional amendments will be shelved to be addressed at the next AGM according.

Two weeks back the National Sports Authority held a meeting with some stakeholders of the Tennis Members to map out some prevailing issues that have been a concern ahead of the Sierra Leone Lawn Tennis Association.

It could be recalled that some members raised concerns that the President of the Tennis Association wants to go into a third term which according to them is not within the Constitution of Lawn Tennis as amended.

President Kelvin Ezekiel Kalie said what the Tennis members are saying is not true, because they are saying is far from the truth, because the amended constitution of 2019 is clear that a setting has the chance for the re-election of two terms and all members have agreed to it in an Annual General Meeting.
