He said that there has been professionalism from the Electoral Committee as they have involved development partners to help conduct a free and Fair Elections on polling day.

The Electoral Committee has brought in independent Observers such as, SLAJ, SWASAL, and NEW to be Observer’s in the Elections and a total of one hundred and twenty (122) people are expected to be part of Elections in Makeni.

According to Mr Kamara, the total number includes Fifty Seven (57) delegates and the message has to be communicated to National Emergency Response Centre for proper Health Measures to be followed.

He added that high personalities from both the Government, FIFA and the Football administrators are going to grace the much awaited SLFA Elective Congress that has seen two postponement in the past two months.

He further stated that there is going to be two sessions in the Elective Congress, the first is where Observers will make statements including the Current Football Association President Madam Isha Johansen and the FIFA Representative. The second stage is going to be Congress proper where there will only be the current President Isha Johansen, the delegates and the Secretariat staff the media is not going to be allowed during Congress proper, simply because that has been the norm and they will be only allowed during the announcement of results after that a Press Conference is called to brief them on the outcome of the Elections.

He end up that the issue of Delegates has been resolved, because they are going to use the final list of the (57) delegates certified by the seven- man Committee. The final list would be approved by FIFA,  with the expectation that some few changes will be made if some of the delegates have passed away. Training was held for all delegates leading to the Elective Congress to aid with some Education ahead the Elective Congress.

Three candidates set to contest for the Presidency of the Sierra Leone football Association come Saturday at Makeni and three more candidate’s set to contest for the  Vice President one four Ex- Officio.

The Elective Congress has been the much talk about because since the Madam Isha Johansen led Executive came to power there has been no Elective Congress in the Country`s Football Association and she has been there for Seven years now.

Football development and football fans believed that  if there is change in Football administrations in the Country there will be more development while others thinks that all those who want to be head of  the Football Association is just about money for their selfish motives.
