Following the successful end of the 2022/23 league season and in preparation for the upcoming edition, the Sierra Leone Football Association has scheduled dates for this year’s National Division One League to take place between the 6th of August to the 10th of September, and the Sierra Leone Premier League Playoff to be staged between the 17th to the 30th September 2023.
The year’s Division One League has been formatted to play regionally with each of the five Regions expected to turn in its two best qualifiers to compete in the 2023/24 Sierra Leone Premier League playoff in September.
The three best teams from the playoffs will automatically be upgraded to the 2023/24 Premier League replacing the current relegated teams in line with the newly introduced league system.
The Western Area Football Association has over the weekend releases fixtures for the Division one play-Offs that is set to kick-Off this week across five different Venus in Freetown.
When the top flight League climax there was doubt for the Division one league if it going to play again, but with the release of the dates many clubs have now brace up their teams to start up preparation ahead of the competitions.
