SLFA PRESIDENT TO ATTEND CAF GENERAL MEETING

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Thomas Daddy Brima is set to attend his first CAF member’s association meeting, which is set to be very strategy as the CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe will address key issues governing Football.

The strategy meeting is set to take place in Casablanca, Morocco on the 16 July 2021 as Fouzi Lekjaa has expressed his readiness to host the CAF Executive Committee (Exco) members.

According to the CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe the meeting is to discuss the ongoing changes at CAF level, as well the strategies to make it sustainable in the medium and long term plans. He further added that though the invitation for the meeting is short, but called on all members to avail themselves.

He affirmed that key among the things to be discuss on how the 54 members association and 6 zonal president to plans and strategies in making CAF globally competitive to be self-sustain in Football Governance and development.

He said the meeting with the 54 members association would be useful and beneficial in addressing the current crises the World is facing in terms of financial strength to meet with the demands of hosting its own competitions, as currently the Confederation of Africa working towards organizing the Africa Cup of Nations and the draw is set to take place in August as the 24 Nations are waiting to know their respective opponents after the draw.
