The Prosecutor Prosecuting a matter involved a staff of Sierra Leone Commercial Bank ASP Ibrahim Mansaray told the Court that he has send subpoena to the complainant Festus Edward Sowa staff working at Sierra Leone Commercial Bank and he has refused to come to court and testify.
The Prosecutor said it an open Court before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Court No 1.
The accused Ibrahim Gassimu an house help to the complainant Festus Edward Sowa.
The accused is on a count of house breaking and larceny contrary to Section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
Particulars of offence, the accused Ibrahim Gassimu on Sunday 9 July 2023, at No. 108 Regent Road, Hill Station, Freetown, with intent to steal, breaks and entered into the dwelling house of Festus Edward Sowa and stole therein in the of one hundred and thirty eight thousand new Leones (Le138,000/00) property of Festus Edward Sowa.
Failing to come to Court, Magistrate Ngegba granted the accused bail in the sum of one hundred thousand Leones with one surety in like sum and bail to be approved by DAR.
Matter adjourned to the 25 August 2023, ASP Ibrahim Mansaray is Prosecuting the matter.
